These are the Terms and Conditions upon which NilesHeena Limited, trading as Event Gurus - Innovative Creations ("we/us") makes this website (the "Event Gurus Site") available to you and any of our products or services which are accessible on or via the Event Gurus Site.

GENERAL
While visiting www.eventgurus.co.uk, you may leave the site and enter various independent websites. Please be aware that Event Gurus... is not responsible for the privacy practices of other websites. We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our site and to read the privacy statements of each and every website that collects personally identifiable information.

The products and services offered by third party companies are not a part of our Company and under no circumstances shall we be liable for any losses or damages caused by a third party company.

Such limitation shall also apply with respect to damages incurred by reason of other services or goods received through by a recommended third party company. If you accept any products or services offered by a third party company, then all communication must be between the you and the third party company. We will not be responsible or liable for any communication or misrepresentation of the third party company.

You acknowledge and agree that we are not responsible for the availability of such external sites, and do not endorse and are not responsible or liable for any content, advertising, products or other materials on or available from such sites.

You agree and acknowledge that you are solely responsible for evaluating any goods or services offered by us or third parties via the Site and that we will not be a party to or in any way responsible for any transactions between you and third parties.

Whilst we agree to use our reasonable endeavours to ensure that the Event Gurus Site and/or the Event Gurus Service is fully operational and error-free we cannot guarantee this. We therefore accept no responsibility for any defects and/or interruption of the Event Gurus Site and/or the Event Gurus Service. We shall be released from our obligations under these Terms and Conditions in the event of any cause beyond our reasonable control, (i.e.: acts of god, civil commotion, riot, flood, fire, drought) which renders the provision of the Event Gurus Site and/or the Event Gurus Service impossible or impractical.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Products/Services
Event Gurus reserves the right to change all or some of the contents or packaging to provide an item of equal or greater value without notice. All products/services are subject to availability.

Goods (products/services) purchased remain the property of Event Gurus until paid for in full.

Equipment hired (including glass-ware, stands, pedestals, props and artefacts) remains the property of Event Gurus at all times.

Hire Charges
The Stated Hire Charges on the Order-Form/Invoice are for the duration of the contract period.

The Client will pay all monies in advance (interest will be payable on all outstanding amounts at the rate of 2% per day), and will be liable for all legal charges incurred by Event Gurus in the recovery of amounts overdue, Equipment and/or Goods.

Deposits (for order confirmation) are non-refundable.

Deposits (for Damage/Loss of Items) are refundable on the satisfactory return of hired items. This deposit is set at the rate of 2 (two) times the rate of hire per item, and is payable in cash.

If Items are returned “late” or after the agreed hire period, a penalty charge is payable by the Client at the same rate of hire per item on the Order-Form/Invoice, each day until the item is returned.

Where the hired items/equipment are not returned in the same condition as when collected due to “loss” or “damage”, the Client will be liable to pay a penalty charge at a rate of five (5) times the rate of hire per item. Hire Charges accrue until the full settlement is made.

Client's Responsibility
The Client acknowledges that upon receipt of the goods/equipment that they accept full responsibility for these items, and in the case of “hire”, until they are returned to, or collected by, a member of staff of Event Gurus.

Event Gurus's Responsibility
Event Gurus will maintain the agreed hire rates for the duration of the contract.

Wherever possible Event Gurus will provide the goods/equipment and services as agreed, however the Client acknowledges and accepts that in unforeseen circumstances, substitutions will be made as necessary.

Payment
All deposits and payments are non-refundable.

All cheques payable to 'NilesHeena Limited'

30% - Deposit of total balance to secure booking (this is non-refundable on cacellation

70% - Final balance is to be settle in advance of the event date

2% - Penalty interest per day charge on outstanding balance from the first day after the event date until payment is made in full

The Client will be liable for all legal charges incurred by Event Gurus in the recovery of amounts overdue, Equipment and/or Goods.

Any cheques that are unpaid or represented by the bank will incur an administration fee of £30.00, which the Client agrees to pay.

Cancellation
The Client must inform Event Gurus, in writing, the cancellation of goods/services/or hire items that have been ordered.

The client remains liable to pay in full for all goods/services/items that have been ordered, where notice of cancellation is less than 30 days from the event date.

Wedding / Décor Hire

  • Setup time for Mandap décor is typically estimated to be 2.5hrs. Please include this time allowance when booking the venue.                                                     
  • Breakdown time for Mandap is typically estimated to be 1.5hrs. Please include this allowance when booking the venue.
  • For Health & Safety reasons it is requested during setup and breakdown friends and family members to keep away from the Mandap/decor area as this will add additional time to completion and avoid accidents or injury for which we will take no responsibility for.                                   
  • The clients are responsible for setup of guest chairs, tables and linen, unless requested by client for Event Gurus to set up at an additional charge.                                                          
  • Fresh floral arrangements are an additional charge to the package price unless otherwise stated.                                                                  
  • If the event is overrunning to the scheduled booked time, the client will be liable for any additional hall hire charges that may be incurred until Event Gurus hired items are out of the venue, bearing in mind point 2 above.

Event Management

 

Event Gurus will:

  • Develop and approve  a requirements/plan with the client through regular meetings / conversations
  • Liaise with all the 3rd party suppliers on behalf of the client
  • Call all 3rd party supplier 48 hrs prior to the event to reconfirm clients requirements
  • Manage all final payments (if required) to be paid on delivery of service to 3rd party suppliers. These details and monies need to be provided by the client prior to the event.
  • Manage on the event day timetable and liaise with one designated family member (if and when required)
  • Ensure the client guests are treated with respect
  • Ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible in accordance to the plan approved by the client
  • Ensure the client is satisfied with our service and support given on the day

Event Gurus will not and/or take responsibility for:

  • 3rd party suppliers not providing their service due to whatever reason
  • 3rd party arriving late or impacting the event plan
  • 3rd party not providing the service approved by the client
  • 3rd party service and quality
  • Damaged caused by 3rd party suppliers or client’s guests
  • Any public liability issues faced during the event
  • Do unnecessary adhoc tasks demanded by the client or their guests
  • Tolerate any disrespectful, abusive behaviour by the clients guests
  • Over-running of the plan/timetable caused by unforeseen circumstances such as weather etc
  • Cleaning up or moving of furniture etc ..

Other
Event Gurus had there own public liability insurance to safeguard themselves, however it is recommended that the client has appropriate insurance in place (such wedding, venue, food insurance if required). This is something Event Gurus do not provide.

All electrical equipment used is PAT tested to meet British H&S Standards.

Complaints
All complaints must be received in writing within 7 days of the event date.
